 Hello friends and family!
Today started at 6 AM, as I got up and tried to assess the problem on Neverland with the alternator. Turns out it just needed a belt, and I just happened to have one!
At 7:20 I left my anchorage and headed towards Detroit.
I reached the entrance to the Detroit River at about noon. There were lots of boats on the water.
I didn’t make as much mileage as I had hoped today, but I was facing a two knot current that slowed me down quite a bit.
I arrived at Lake St. Clair at 7 o’clock and dropped the anchor next to the nicest yacht club I’ve ever seen. I can smell them grilling out steaks over there, but I’ll be having soup and then hitting the bed. Another early start tomorrow!
