Good evening family and friends! This will be short, as we are exhausted.
All repairs done and checked out, we waited a bit for the wind to die down some before heading out around 11:00 am. I made a less than graceful exit from the dock, bumping the stern against the side. Nothing damaged but pride.
We made our way down the Erie coast under beautiful skies and calm seas.
We found our anchorage but arrived right at dark. It was very, very difficult to get tucked in behind the breakwater wall and drop the anchor. Hopefully we are set well and won’t drag, but we have the anchor alarm set in case.
Early start tomorrow, heading to Cleveland!
